Swisslog Healthcare, a global leading supplier of solutions for medication management in healthcare, has partnered with Pharmony to deliver an integrated software and automation experience to community pharmacies in Europe. Pharmony is a Belgium-based technology company providing cloud-based medication management services.
The integration of Pharmony SaaS offerings with Swisslog Healthcare solutions will provide pharmacy owners with robust tools to manage operations more efficiently.
Swisslog Healthcare has acquired a minority stake in Pharmony. Patrick Koch, member of the Swisslog Healthcare executive team, will join the Pharmony board of directors to support the successful execution of its growth strategy.
The integration of the Swisslog Healthcare automation portfolio into the Pharmony platform will offer community pharmacists a wide range of services contributing to the increased efficiency of pharmacy operations.
Pharmony is a start-up company based in Belgium led by experienced technology and medication management experts. “Swisslog Healthcare will support us in growing our company by expanding our proven technology beyond the Belgium market,” commented Olivier Devue, CEO of Pharmony. “We are excited to work together with one of the global leaders in medication management solutions to take Pharmony to the next level of success.”

The parties agreed further details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
