BEIJING, Oct. 01, 2026 – The 94th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) will take place from October 21–24, 2026, bringing together participants from across the medical device value chain at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing. The event is expected to feature more than 3,000 exhibitors, 120,000+ professional visitors and 170,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The exhibition will feature full-industry-chain product coverage, spanning medical imaging, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), operating-room solutions, medical electronics, medical robots, orthopaedics, high-value consumables, disinfection and infection control, smart hospital systems, rehabilitation and elderly-care equipment, home-care medical devices, pet healthcare and emergency rescue solutions. Upstream manufacturing components will also be showcased at ICMD.
A newly launched Innovative Beijing Pavilion will highlight research and development outputs from Beijing-based technology enterprises, industrial parks and research institutes. The pavilion will feature surgical robots, proton-therapy systems, domestically developed advanced medical imaging devices, clinical-grade brain-computer interface systems, breakthrough components and original clinical technologies.
The event will also feature International Pavilions representing Korea, Japan, Germany, ASEAN, the US, the UK, Europe, Russia, India and Pakistan, showcasing regional medical technologies and opportunities for supply-chain collaboration.
CMEF’s WE Series Global Buyer Services will provide dedicated activities for international buyers. The WeMatch Hub will facilitate pre-show one-on-one matching between buyers and exhibitors for B2B negotiations and potential deal closure. The WeTalk Stage will feature product roadshows covering medical robots, brain-computer interfaces, embodied intelligence, medical consumables, rehabilitation assistive devices, home-use medical equipment and medical aesthetic devices. The WeTour programme will provide customised guided tours with English commentary based on visitors’ areas of interest.

The 94th CMEF will also welcome international visitors amid expanded visa and inbound-travel arrangements in China. Available entry routes include unilateral visa-free entry for eligible nationalities, mutual visa-exemption arrangements, 240-hour visa-free transit for eligible travellers, Hainan’s 30-day visa-free entry programme, port visas for qualifying urgent cases, standard M visas and access through the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) framework. Eligibility and conditions vary by nationality and travel circumstances.
In March 2026, nine Chinese government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and National Immigration Administration, jointly issued a 16-measure framework covering travel service exports and inbound consumption. The measures include visa facilitation for international exhibition visitors, expanded visitor services, improved payment and tax-refund arrangements, multilingual services and measures supporting international visitors’ access to medical and other services.
The event will also include an Intangible Cultural Heritage Zone, featuring traditional activities such as sugar-figure blowing and Chuiwan, an ancient Chinese ball game.
