COVID-19 has become a global threat with immense mortality and morbidity in India.1The efforts of scientists are in line to give a concrete solution for the problem. The vaccine has been a boom in the dark phase. However the presence of the vaccine is not up to the need as required. Hence in this situation till the vaccine production meets its demand other strategies are needed to be explored.

Considering this a preventive medicine model Union therapy/SayojyaChikitsa is conceptualized which aims to integrate all medical treatments in practice with a positive effect weather coded or non-coded irrespective of nature and is conceptualized by Kanishk Kala Research Scholar Pharmacyand Rupinder Kaur Sodhi(Guide). The concept provides a comprehensive holistic approach SayojyaChikitsa/Union Therapy.

3It incorporates PDAA approach which is targeted to streamline DUE as it covers the monitoring of rationality of process as well as person involved in event of prescribing, dispensing administration and adherence of drug cycle. Another approach with in union therapy involves the patient in monitoring which aims to improve patient involvement in treatment on one side and helps to decrease the workload on health professionals on the other. It is abbreviated as Patient Assisted Self Monitoring System PASS protocol.

4The rational use of resources including HR, equipments, drugs and allied medical accessories is the need of hour in the present scenario. Hence considering this use of vaccines, PPE, sanitizers, masks, oxygen and other required medical assecories should be done as per 15 R concept which integrates the rationality aspects of the various therapies/treatment modalities.

5 The role of hand washing, bathing, mediation, yoga, exercise , mindfulness and isolation have shown positive benefits in health thus blending the clinical, social, spiritual and cultural aspects of these procedures needed to be done for ensuring their adherence and to strengthen infection control.6-10.
