Metrics Contract Services, a full-service contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in novel oral solid dose products, has appointed Britton Jimenez as Vice President of Business Development.
Britton is responsible for marketing and sales in an executive leadership capacity to support the growing demand for novel oral solid dosage (OSD) projects that require Metrics’ expertise following significant expansion investments in Greenville, NC. The Company has seen particular growth in oncologic therapeutics, which continue to dominate the drug development pipeline. Britton and his team will also focus on expanding our portfolio of global commercial manufacturing opportunities within Metrics.
Britton joins from Catalent Pharma Solutions, where he was Global Director of Business Development. He has extensive experience in leading global business development teams, strategic planning, operational planning and partnership development in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
Britton will report to John Ross, President of Mayne Pharma US and Metrics Contract Services, who said: “Metrics has an exceptional suite of end-to-end services to offer its clients and a reputation for leading science and great customer service in novel OSD development and manufacturing. Britton’s remit will be to expand awareness and reach as well as guide future investments to ensure that Metrics remains at the forefront of the OSD CDMO space.

The appointment coincides with the company’s latest investment which will see the addition of 3,760 square feet of potent-capable production space as part of a $10m investment. Metrics has spent over $100m in the last five years on its Greenville, NC campus.
