Malvern Instruments and Birck Nanotechnology Center at Purdue University have enterted into collaboration to examine the application of light scattering techniques in the characterization of nanoparticles and advance nanotechnology.
The collaboration is formed for scientists who manufacture nanoparticles and for those who work with biomolecule applications and liposome in the area of drug delivery.
The companies are focused on the application of chromatography, dynamic light scattering, static light scattering and electrophoretic light scattering in the characterization of nanoparticles.
The application includes molecular weight determination, biomolecular structure and stability, suspension stability, micelle formation and surface interaction.
