ChargePoint Technology expands team in DACH region

Press Releases

Powder containment and aseptic transfer valve specialist ChargePoint Technology continues its growth strategy within the German, Austrian, and Swiss regions with its recent appointment of a new regional business development manager, Patrick Werner.

Following an increase in demand for its cutting-edge sterile transfer solutions in the DACH market, the appointment will strengthen the company’s customer support services in the region, whilst helping new clients address their high potency manufacturing and aseptic processing challenges.

Malcolm Cunningham, Head of Sales for EMEIA & LATAM at ChargePoint Technology comments: “The dynamic pharmaceutical market in the DACH region and the continued demand for drug products using highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) combine to create a progressive setting for ChargePoint Technology. Our AseptiSafe split-butterfly valve (SBVs), in particular, will provide our customers with increased sterility assurance for ingredient and small component transfers in aseptic processing and sterile API production.”

Joining ChargePoint Technology with a rooted history in the DACH, Eastern Europe and Russian geographies, combined with over eight years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Patrick will add further sector and market expertise to the team.

Commenting on his appointment, Patrick Werner said: “The move to ChargePoint Technology is highly motivating and I look forward to being part of such an innovative team, especially with the launch of VERIFI and the new products being introduced over the next 12 months. The role will allow me to not only get closer to the different stages involved in high potency manufacturing, but to improve the operator safety and sterility assurance for each of our customers.

Reinforcing its commitment to the DACH region, ChargePoint Technology will be exhibiting its first-of-its-kind smart monitoring technology, VERIFI, at ACHEMA 2018, Frankfurt, Germany, in Hall 3.0, stand D14.

VERIFI allows manufacturers to have an automatic / reliable method of understanding the health status of the device allowing them to better control risk and ensure consistent integrity throughout the life-cycle of the system and its critical components.

ChargePoint Technology’s other solutions include PharmaSafe powder containment SBVs offering the highest level of containment performance to ensure the safe handling of potent APIs, intermediates and pharmaceutical formulations.
