The 15th Annual Digital Pharma Advances Conference will bring pharmaceutical marketing, medical and commercial leaders together on 27 January 2027 at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London to examine how AI, omnichannel engagement and digital transformation can deliver practical value for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients.
As pharmaceutical companies invest in new digital capabilities, the challenge is shifting from testing tools to embedding them in everyday operations. The conference programme will focus on where AI is improving engagement and decision-making, how teams can scale successful approaches and what governance is needed to maintain trust and compliance.
An opening panel on AI implementation will examine both successes and setbacks, including the move beyond isolated pilots towards programmes that deliver measurable benefits. The discussion features David Wilson, Global Digital Transformation & Innovation Director at Kyowa Kirin; Mike Soper, Director Global MA Data Capabilities, Analytics, Medical Insights & AI at Astellas Pharma; and Sihame Bahri, Global Omnichannel Engagement Lead at CSL.
HCP engagement is another central theme. Speakers will consider how to use customer insights, relevant content and coordinated digital and face-to-face interactions to create more useful experiences. Perspectives across the programme include leaders from Menarini Group, Fresenius Kabi, Servier, Sanofi, Biogen, Takeda and Merck.
The agenda also addresses an operational challenge facing many pharma organisations: making digital, field, medical and commercial teams work together. A dedicated panel will explore this alignment with contributions from Sobi UK & Ireland, AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk and Gilead Sciences. Later discussions examine content approval, organisational change, data, performance measurement and the governance of AI-enabled marketing.
Alongside formal sessions, the event includes five interactive panels, facilitated peer-to peer discussions and dedicated networking time. A separate half-day AI Marketing Workshop on 26 January will explore practical applications of AI in customer-centric pharmaceutical marketing.
Organised by Global Insight Conferences, the one-day event is designed to give industry practitioners a forum to compare approaches, examine real implementation challenges and take actionable insights back to their teams.
