IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrotechnical Equipment and Components CB Scheme and CB-FCS Scheme has accredited the SGS Korea testing lab as a Certified Body Technical Lab (CBTL) for Medical Devices and their relevant IEC standards. The SGS Testing Korea Co., Ltd. lab becomes the fourth CBTL within the SGS network, joining the labs in the US, Belgium and Spain. The CBTL accreditation was granted based on the results of the on-site assessment and successful clearance of subsequent recommendations. More information on the current scope of National Certification Bodies (NCBs) and CBTLs is available on the IECEE web page.
