Dr. Reddy’s has launched over-the-counter Heartburn drug called Lansoprazole delayed-release capsules in the US Market. The company has come up with these capsules in the strength of 15 mg. as approved by the US FDA. These capsules can be used to treat frequent heartburn that occurs two or three days in a week.
As per the statement released by the company, they are pleased to continue to expand their antacids and PPI portfolio for the customers. The company’s product is equivalent to Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America Inc’s Prevacid 24HR capsules.
