Salil Chari
Salil Chari is the Regional President for FedEx Asia Pacific (APAC) at FedEx Express based in Singapore, having assumed the top regional leadership role on January 1, 2026 . A veteran with nearly three decades of internal company experience, his responsibilities include executive strategic planning, commercial growth, and overseeing operations for a workforce of nearly 30,000 team members across the Asia Pacific trade corridors. Prior to this appointment, Chari served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience for the former wider AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa) division based in Hong Kong, managing strategic execution, revenue management, and customer experience operations across multiple continents. He has also served in other leadership positions across Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Corporate Headquarters including Vice President of Marketing for FedEx APAC and Managing Director of Marketing and Customer Service for FedEx Latin America and the Caribbean.
Chari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
