Upsher-Smith Laboratories has launched B-Nexa, a prescription prenatal vitamin for pregnant women who suffer from nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP).

B-Nexa is designed with B vitamins and ginger to help calm NVP, also known as morning sickness, the most common symptom of pregnancy, the company said. Taken once or twice daily, B-Nexa contains vitamin B6 and ginger to help calm nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Each antihistamine-free tablet also contains 1.2mg folic acid.

Upsher-Smith medical affairs senior director Wesley Todd said that B-Nexa is a new option in the prenatal nutrition market that has been designed to help calm nausea and vomiting of pregnancy.
