MHRA approves Ajanta Pharma Paithan manufacturing plant

The Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) of UK has approved India-based Ajanta Pharma’s formulation manufacturing plant at Paithan, Aurangabad, India. Ajanta’s Paithan manufacturing plant has also got the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval earlier.Additionally, Ajanta’s Paithan facility also holds the WHO Pre-qualification approval from WHO Geneva.Ajanta Pharma managing director Yogesh Agrawal said they continue to build expertise in the quality standards and approvals from the most stringent regulatory authorities like US, UK and WHO Pre-qualification are testimony to their commitment towards quality.
