Recipharm is proud to announce that our programme designed to implement our standard solution for serialisation across our manufacturing facilities, has been recognised as an example of best practice at the TRACKTS Awards 2017.
The programme won the PHARMA 4.0 Tracksters award for the best execution of a track and trace system at the ceremony on September 28, following an evaluation process which assessed the project’s methodology, use of technology and innovation.
In 2016, we committed to invest 40 million euros into our serialisation programme and to lead the market in terms of our readiness for the European Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD).
The award recognised the implementation programme at Recipharm’s facility in Lisbon, which is now equipped to provide serialisation and aggregation capabilities to customers and is already supplying products to China, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.
Recipharm’s programme is intends to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to serialisation implementation across all our manufacturing sites and is used to identify, purchase, install and qualify systems in line with customer requirements.
