Ferring acquires ex-U.S. assets and rights for Vitaros , Apricus’ on-demand topical cream for erectile dysfunction

Ferring Pharmaceuticals announced an agreement with Apricus Biosciences, Inc, granting Ferring global assets and rights, excluding the U.S., related to Apricus’ Vitaros.

Vitaros is an on-demand topical cream indicated for the treatment of patients with erectile dysfunction.Ferring is Apricus’ existing commercialisation partner for Vitaros in Latin America and parts of Europe and Asia. Following an agreed handover period, Ferring will be responsible for managing all Vitaros-related activities outside of the U.S. with existing Vitaros commercialisation partners. Apricus will retain its Vitaros rights in the U.S.
