Asim Ahmed Elnour Ahmed

Associate Professor Asim Ahmed Elnour Ahmed happens to be a pharmacy academic,clinical researcher as well as a healthcare professional with more than three decades of experience spanning pharmacy practice, clinical research, and higher education. Currently an Associate Professor at Alain University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, he has previously held academic positions at Gulf Medical University, Fatima College, UAE University, Monash University, the University of Khartoum, and the National University–Sudan. His research expertise encompasses systematic reviews, meta-analysis, randomized clinical trials, original research, clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice, epidemiology, and Global Burden of Disease (GBD) research, and he has served as a Senior Collaborator with the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). He has also held several international editorial and academic positions, including roles with Pharmacy Practice, PLOS ONE, Vaccines, and the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy, and his professional career combines academic leadership, clinical pharmacy practice, research, and international collaboration.
