Wirdatun Nafisah

Wirdatun Nafisah is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia, and also affiliated with Bioventum Global Labs. Her research areas include cancer biology, bioinformatics, computational drug discovery, and natural product investigation for drug development. Her work combines in silico, in vitro and in vivo approaches to investigate molecular mechanisms and to identify potential bioactive compounds, with a special interest in cancer-related research. In addition to her laboratory work, she also participates in research collaboration, scientific publication and the development of bioinformatics and computational biology research activities. Her current interests include natural product based drug discovery and computational approaches for understanding therapeutic targets and mechanisms. Her main expertise and interests are cancer biology and molecular oncology, bioinformatics and computational biology, computational drug discovery, and natural product-based drug discovery.
