About the journal
World Pharma Today Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal for original research and critical review across pharmaceutical science, drug development, manufacturing and regulatory practice. It is published by Leo Marcom Pvt Ltd as the research arm of World Pharma Today, a pharmaceutical industry publication established in 2008.
Why this journal exists
A great deal of useful pharmaceutical work never reaches the literature: method transfers, scale-up studies, root-cause investigations, regulatory case histories, process improvements. Much of it is done in industry and contract organisations rather than universities, and it is often declined by specialist journals as insufficiently novel. World Pharma Today Journal was created to publish exactly this kind of work — rigorously reviewed, openly available and free to publish — alongside conventional academic research.

Indexing and abstracting
Every article receives a Crossref DOI and is discoverable through Google Scholar from publication. The journal will apply for inclusion in DOAJ after publishing its first issues, and in Scopus and PubMed Central once eligibility criteria on publication history are met. Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made solely by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Advisory Board on the basis of scientific merit and fit with scope. The publisher has no role in accepting or rejecting manuscripts. Commercial relationships of World Pharma Today with advertisers, event organisers or sponsors have no bearing on editorial decisions and are never disclosed to editors or reviewers handling a manuscript.

The journal shares its readership and subject coverage but is editorially separate: journal articles are peer reviewed and are never sponsored, whereas the magazine publishes news, features and clearly labelled sponsored content. The magazine may summarise journal articles for its readers, always linking to the open-access original.
