Kasim S. Abass, Professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Kirkuk, since 2013. He joined the Tikrit University of the University of Tikrit in 2000, becoming the Dean of the College of Pharmacy (2019). He led at the University, the Directorate of Studies, Planning and Follow-Up, the Directorate of Research and Development and the Center for Pharmacological Research. He was involved in different activities with Iraqi universities in providing leadership for undergraduate and graduate educational programs, curriculum development, scientific research, faculty professional development and supervised the council of Iraqi scientific societies. He also brokered a number of educational and development partnerships between Iraqi universities and international educational agencies and universities.
