Clinipace Adds Four Experts, Expands Global Medical and Strategic Development Services

Clinipace, a global full-service contract research organization (CRO), has hired four operational, therapeutic, and medical experts to bolster the company’s global strategic development capabilities and medical expertise.

Leslie Wetherell, Niamh Bresnihan, Gonzalo Rubio, M.D., and Heidi Mitchell, M.D., will collaborate with clients to provide clinical development solutions that leverage Clinipace’s core capabilities.

“These experts bring decades of experience and a wide range of expertise, better enabling us to give our clients the personalized service they need to optimize their trials,” said Dawn Sauro, chief development officer at Clinipace.

Wetherell, who has more than 22 years’ experience in rare disease and oncology trials, and Bresnihan, who brings a broad range of therapeutic expertise including dermatology from roles in pharma and leading CROs, will work directly with clients and form the foundation of Clinipace’s team of therapeutically aligned operational experts.

Drs. Rubio and Mitchell will add their expertise to expand Clinipace’s medical team.

“Dr. Rubio, an oncologist, and Dr. Mitchell, an internal medicine physician, have impressive clinical and product development experience,” said Sharon Moore, M.D., chief medical officer at Clinipace. “We’re privileged to have them join our team to support our clients in the advancement of their research programs.”

“Our new team members have numerous relationships across the industry that they will leverage on behalf of our clients globally,” said Jason Monteleone, MBA, Clinipace CEO. “Clients will see direct benefits from their focused and personalized expertise, demonstrating again our continued commitment to providing the industry’s best clinical development solutions and services.”

Meet with Wetherell, Bresnihan, Rubio, and Sauro, plus other oncology experts, at the 2019 Annual ASCO meeting, May 31–June 4, in Booth 3038.
